In the wake of the coronavirus (COVID-19) spread in the country, Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) Teachers Association came forward to donate their one-day salary to the Prime Minister’s relief fund to help combat the disease and stand by the helpless people.
This information was given on Friday by a press notice signed by the president of the organization Professor Dr. Newaz Mohammed Bahadur and general secretary of this organization, Md. Majnur Rahman.
According to the notice,some money of total amount of university teachers 01 day salary will be given to the Prime Minister relief fund and some money will be spent for the helpless people of Noakhali district to buy their food and medicine. NSTU teachers association will conduct this with the help of local administration of Noakhali district.
