Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) Science Club, a platform of NSTU students, arranged the NSTU Science Fesival-2020 at the Hazi Idris Auditorium on the campus on Thursday.
NSTU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Md Didar Ul Alam inaugurated the programme as chief guest, while NSTU Registrar Prof Dr Abul Hossain was present as the special guest. NSTU Proctor Prof Dr Newaz Mohammed Bahadur, Chairman of Department of Microbiology Dr Firoz Ahmed, professor of Department of Pharmacy Dr Mohammad Shafiqul Islam, Associate Professor of Department of Fisheries and Marine Science Dr Mohammad Belal Hossain, Assistant Professor of Department of CSTE Dr. A R M Mahmudul Hasan Rana were present, among others.
The guests shared their research experiences and ideas to encourage the students. Ahmed Kowsher of Department of Applied Mathematics, Md. Abdul Barek of Department of Pharmacy and Snighdha Setu Paul of Department of ESDM presented their research works at the function. The guests examined the poster presentation (research and idea) and thesis presentations. NSTU Journalist Assassination (NSTUJA) was media partner of the programme.
