NSTU observes Jail Killing Day

The authorities of Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) observed the Jail Killing Day with due dignity on 3 November.

On the occasion of the day, a floral wreath was laid from University VC Professor Dr. Md. Didar ul Alam at the central Shaheed Minar of the university in honor of four leaders killed on 3 November in 1975. At this time, they were silent for 1 minute to recall the contribution and sacrifice of the four National leaders.

During this time, among others NSTU treasurer Professor Dr.Mohammed Faruque Uddin,   vice-president of NSTU Teachers Association Dr. Md. Anisuzzaman, General Secretary Md. Maznur Rahman and Registrar (Acting) Mohammad Jasim Uddin, Officers Association's President Shakhawat Hossain and also teachers, officials, deans of faculties, hall provosts and directors of institutes were present. After the Zohr prayers, a Milad mahfil was held at NSTU Central Mosque.
