NRBC Bank held a town hall meeting for the Chattogram Zone on Saturday, 2 August 2025, at a private hotel in Chattogram.
Md. Ali Hossain Pradhania, Chariman of NRBC Bank, was present at the meeting as the chief guest.
Md. Abul Bashar, Independent Director, Dr. Md. Touhidul Alam Khan, Managing Director and CEO, Harunur Rashid, Deputy Managing Director and CFO , Md. Saiful Alam Chowdhury, Head of Chattogram Zone, along with officials from all levels of branches and sub-branches under the zone, were also present at the meeting.
In his speech as chief guest, Md. Ali Hossain Pradhania, Chairman of NRBC Bank, said that corporate governance and compliance are the fundamental principles of banking operations.
Recovery activities must be intensified to reduce the existing classified loans in the Chattogram region.
In addition, to achieve the set targets with the aim of increasing profitability, it is essential to reduce expenses including fund costs by mobilizing interest-free and low-interest deposits.
