The 12th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of NRBC Bank PLC was held in a hybrid format on Thursday at Kurmitola Golf Clubin the capital.
Bank’s Independent Director and Chairman, Ali Hossain Prodhania presided over the meeting, while Independent directors, sponsors, and shareholders attended the meeting both in physically and via online platforms.
Muhammad Emdad Ullah, FCA, Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee, Nurul Haque, Independent Director and Chairman of the Risk Management Committee, Abul Bashar, Anwar Hossain and Barrister Md. Shafiqul Rahman, Independent Directors, Dr. Md. Touhidul Alam Khan, Managing Director and CEO, Harunur Rashid, Deputy Managing Director & CFO and Mohammad Ahsan Habib, Company Secretary were present at the meeting.
Expressing gratitude to all independent directors, sponsors, shareholders, customers, and investors participating in the AGM, Chairman Ali Hossain Prodhania said that Bangladesh Bank has reconstituted the Board of Directors of NRBC Bank, keeping in mind the interests of depositors and general investors.
Managing Director & CEO Dr. Md. Touhidul Alam Khan said, “Depositors and general investors are the lifeline of NRBC Bank. Under the guidance of a competent Board of Directors, we are making every effort to safeguard the bank’s interests.”
