State Minister for Information Dr Murad Hasan, MP, has directed the party leaders and the generous people to supply food to the distressed people irrespective of their party affiliation.
He was speaking at a discussion on coronavirus situation at his own house at Daulatpur of Sharishabari upazila in Jamalpur on Sunday evening. At the time, He handed over 40 pieces of PPE and 50 pieces of masks to the doctors of the upazila health complex.
The meeting was addressed, among others, by UNO Sihab Uddin Ahmed, President of Upazila Awami League Sanowar Hossain Badsha, Officer in charge of the thana Majedur Rahman and Dr. Zarin of Upazila Health Complex.
Murad Hasan said, “We, the Bangladesh Awami League, works for the people. A disastrous situation has been prevailing and we are assisting the people with relief. Those will never be pardoned who will engage in corruption and try to plunder the relief.
We will not pardon them. No one will be spared who will play foul with the relief goods. They will be awarded exemplary, rigorous punishment,” he said. He also said that every one should follow the government health rules.
