The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the itinerary of the home series against Sri Lanka which will be held in March.

The series includes three T20 Internationals, three ODIs and two Tests but none of the matches will be held in Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, considered as the country's home of cricket.

The BCB has taken the decision to reduce the overdependence and also to rest the Mirpur pitch. Sylhet International Cricket Stadium and Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium of Chattogram were chosen as the venue of the entire series.

Sri Lanka which will arrive in Bangladesh on March 1, will straight travel to Sylhet after landing in Dhaka. The series will start with three T20Is-all of which will be held in Sylhet on March 4, 6 and 9. While the first two matches start at 6 PM, the last match will begin from 3 PM.

The three ODIs will be hosted by Chattogram on March 13, 15 and 18. The first two ODIs starts at 2.30 PM and the last one is from 10 AM.

Sylhet thereafter will host the first Test, from March 22-26 while the series-ending second Test will be taken place in Chattogram from March 30-April 3. Both of the Test starts at 10 AM.
