A Supreme Court lawyer has sent a legal notice to cancel the censorship of the movie ‘No Dorai’, citing harm to religious sentiments.

In the next two days, five persons, including the Secretary of the Ministry of Information, will be rit to the High Court if they do not take action as per the notice.

On Wednesday, the Supreme Court lawyer Hujjatul Islam sent the notice. The confirmation of sending the notice has been confirmed by the lawyer.

Regarding sending legal notices on film 'No Dorai’, he said, "There are scenes in the movie that can be called the first and boldest in Bangladeshi cinema. It cannot be guaranteed that this picture can be seen with family members.”

Meanwhile, the censor board objected to dialogues of the film. After editing the dialogues, it has been allowed to be screened. Then, in the same day the releasing of more than two films created complications. All the complexities were overcome on November 29 and the year's most awaited movie 'No Dorai' was released. This week, the film is running in 7 theaters.

The Film’s Producer is Star Cineplex Chairman Mahbub Rahman Ruhel and has been directed by Tanim Rahman Angshu. Shyamol Sengupta has written the screenplay.

The film stars Shariful Raj, Sunerah Binte Kamal, Sayeed Babu and other.

About this, Mezbar Uddin Ahmed, senior media manager at Star Cineplex, said, “We have not received any notice yet. So, I cannot say anything about this before getting the notice.”
