There is no cautionary signal for any seaports across the country, said a report of National Disaster Response Co-ordination Center under the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, reports BSS.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Sylhet and Chattogram divisions and at many places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country. Water levels in 39 river stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rises and 50 stations recorded falls.
Among the 93 monitored water level stations, four are steady, a bulletin issued by FFWC said on Friday.
The Brahmaputra-Jamuna is in falling trend and The Ganga-Padma is in steady state. On the other hand, all major rivers in the south-eastern and north- eastern regions are in rising trend.
According to Bangladesh Meteorological Department, medium to heavy rainfall may occur in the northeastern region along with Meghalaya, north region along with northern west Bengal and the Ganges West Bengal of India.
As a result, the Surma, Kushiyara, Kangsha, Manu, Khowai, Tista, Dharla and Dudhkumar rivers may rise rapidly.
The Brahmaputra-Jamuna may fall and the Ganga-Padma may continue steady.
