Chattogram Zilla Parishad Administrator Muhammad Anwar Pasha said women play a vital role in building a nation with self-respect. There is no alternative to training for women to maintain their dignity in the country and society.
Muhammad Anwar Pasha came up with this assertion while speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of the first and second batches of sewing and cutting training under the Poverty Alleviation and Women Development Project for the fiscal year 2023-24, held at the training office of Zilla Parishad super market near Laldighi on Sunday.
Chief Executive Officer of Chattogram Zilla Parishad Shabbir Iqbal presided over the programme while Executive Officer Md Didarul Islam moderated it.
The chief guest said if women participate in the sewing training attentively, they will be greatly benefitted. They will be able to manage their own work as well as assist their families and neighbors. Additionally, this will provide them with the opportunity to become economically self-sufficient.
The Chattogram Zilla Parishad is implementing various activities to empower disadvantaged women in society through training. This sewing training will play a crucial role in enabling our women to become economically self-sufficient and capable of supporting their families.
Trainees, guests, trainers, and officials and staff of the Zilla Parishad were present at that time.
