The lawmaker made the remarks while inaugurating a four-storey academic building of Singer Gari High School in Nilphamari’s Kishoreganj upazila on Sunday.

Adel said even in the coronavirus pandemic, students are studying online from home. They got new books on the first day of the year. The government is working relentlessly to take the education sector forward.

Keeping the future betterment of the children in mind, massive development work has been undertaken in the education sector in Syedpur and Kishoreganj of Nilphamari-4 constituency, he added.

Presided over by President of Singer Gari High School Abdul Majid Chhoto, School headmaster Zakir Hossain, Magura Union Jatiya Party President Akhtaruzzaman Mithu, former chairman Golam Mostafa, social worker Abu Raihan and others were present.

Implemented by Department of Education Engineering, the four-storey academic building was constructed at a cost of Tk 2.66 crore.
