Closeup star singer Nishita Barua is passing a busy life through singing. The singer regular sings songs for cinemas and also is frequently seen on stage shows.
Recently, two covers by Nishita Barua published on the Ceylon Music Lounge's YouTube channel has received much acclaim. One is Lata Mangeshkar's ‘Aj Mon Cheyechhe Ami Hariye Jabo’ and the other is Arti Mukherjee's song ‘Tokhon Tomar Ekush Bachhor Bodhoy’, this was arranged by Partho Barua.
Nishita Barua went to Agartala, India on February 20 last. Nishita had to perform these songs at the request of the audience there.
About this, Nishita says, “I got very little time to sing for the audience at Agartala. It feels great that have been able to sing these great songs in such a short time. I was impressed with the response from the audience there.”
Nishita, meanwhile, said that soon she will sing another new cover song for the Ceylon Music Lounge. However, it is not yet final as to whose song she is going to sing.
