Dhallywood actor Nirab Hossain resigned as the public relations and communication officer of e-commerce company ‘Shreshtho’ on Monday, less than two months after he joined the job.
The actor confirmed his resignation while talking to newsmen.
The resignation came amid controversies over e-commerce companies after several of them embezzled huge money from the customers.
Meanwhile, the owners of several e-commerce companies in the country have been arrested on recent fraud charges. Not only the owner, but also RJ Nirob, the head of marketing department of e-commerce company Qcoom, was arrested on October 8. Meanwhile, actress Sabnam Faria has also quit her job from Evaly. Tahsan Khan and Mithila have also withdrawn as brand ambassadors of the same organisation.
It is believed that actor Nirab also resigned from the job in that continuity. Although the actor said that the reason behind leaving the job is not being able to match his schedule as he is busy with shooting.
Regarding the context Nirab said, 'I have already signed several movies. The shooting of these has to be pulled. As well as a few of my movies will be released up front. They also have to take part in the campaign. So it is not possible to continue the job. I quit my job on my own.'
Recent scams and e-commerce in various cases have created a negative perception among the general public, filmmaker are also giving importance to that.
Meanwhile, Nirab starrer new film titled 'Chokh' has been released a few days ago and the movies 'Casino', 'Omanush’ and ‘ Firey Dekha’ are waiting to be released.
