Popular film actress Nipun and her sister vocalist Polin have participated in a programme for women suffering from breast cancer and street children.
Local artistes including Nipun, her daughter Tanisha, vocalist Polin, her daughter Lurzan and London dancer Parnoma attended the show organised by the Friends of Bangladesh in London on Saturday.
The chief guest at the event was the British-Bangladesh High Commissioner and local MPs.
“The money that comes from the charity show for women with breast cancer is also given to the street children” said Nipun. “I love doing charity shows a lot. The service to people is a big part of religion and I try my best to stand beside the people”, she added.
It should be noted that the filmmaker Nipun was recently modeled on the big budget song titled ‘Rong’ and her sister Polin has voiced the song. The song has been praised since its release on the CMV YouTube channel. Polin performed the song at the programme and Nipun danced to the music. Popular musician and music director Shawkat Ali Emon has composed the music and directed the song.
