The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) in Bangladesh has recognised nine winners at the ‘2nd HSBC Business Excellence Awards’.
Businesses from different sectors were recognised for their leadership and continuous contribution in promoting Bangladesh and enabling sustainable growth in the national economy, said a press release.
The HSBC Business Excellence Awards is organised in partnership with the ministry of commerce, the government, and the British High Commission, Dhaka.
Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi was the chief guest at the event. He was joined by special guest Robert Chatterton Dickson; British high commissioner to Bangladesh.
The winners are Pacific Jeans Group — Ready Made Garments (RMG), Envoy Textiles — Supply Chain and Backward Linkage, PRAN-RFL Group — Nontraditional and Emerging Sectors, Hatil Complex Ltd — Best in Import Substitution, Summit Corporation Ltd — Leader in Inbound Investment and Infrastructure, Malek Spinning Group — Initiative / programme to achieve better environmental, social and governance parameters, BiB
EAT Ltd —Best in Innovation & Technology, City Group — Special Achievement and Surokkha App — Jury Award.
