Niaz Morshed Elite new President of JCI Bangladesh

Niaz Morshed Elite has been elected as the new National President of the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh for 2021.

The General Assembly of JCI Bangladesh was held in Dhaka recently, it said in a statement.

Ismat Jahan and Erfan Haque have been elected as National Executive Vice Presidents for 2021. Rumana Chowdhury has been appointed as National Secretary General, Sarajit Baral became National General Legal Counsel and Ziaul Haque Bhuiyan as National Treasurer of JCI Bangladesh.

Imran Kadir, Abdus Safi, Ashim Kumar Das and Mahmudun Nabi have been elected as National Vice Presidents of JCI Bangladesh.

Abu Taleb Siddique has been appointed as Special Assistant to the National President and Seyed Mosayeb has been appointed as National Training Commissioner.

Besides, Akif Maher, Ebtihaj Joy, Quamrul Hassan, Shahidul Mostafa Chowdhury Mizan and Wasif Wahed have been selected as National Directors of JCI Bangladesh. The General Assembly had been chaired by 2020 National President Sarah Kamal.

JCI is a worldwide organisation of young professionals and leaders between the ages of 18 and 40.

The organization is found in over 120 countries and has a membership of 200,000 across the world. 

It is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, US.

JCI Bangladesh is running its operation with around 14 local chapters with a member base of around 700 and the local chapters are functioning to serve the community, society and at national level.
