A newly married housewife commits suicide at Tingaon village area of Araihazar police station in Narayanganj district on Sunday early.
The deceased was identified as Hosne Ara,26, wife of Ridoy, tenant of Tingaon village of Araihazar upazila. Sub-inspector Riad Hossain said that on information rushed to the spot where the hanging body was recovered from their bedroom.
Ridoy and Hosne Ara married a month ago and it was their second marriage. But the last few days a dispute has been running between them, house owner Razzak claimed.
Hosne Ara’s parent house is Konapara village of Kishoreganj district. They both husband and wife were readymade garments workers.
Police said that after the incident Ridoy went into hide.
Officer in Charge Nazrul Islam said that case was filed and body was sent to morgue for autopsy.
