The newly elected committee members of Bangladesh Photo Journalists Association (BPJA) have paid tribute to Bangabandhu's portrait with flowers.
The organization's president Indrajit Ghosh and general secretary Kazi Borhanuddin led a tribute on Monday at Dhanmondi 32 in the capital at 2 pm.
President of the organization Indrajit Ghosh said, we remember the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman with respect. We remember the 3 million martyrs who made this country free with their lives. We also remember the 2 lakh oppressed mothers and sisters, who were oppressed by the Pakistani occupation forces.
Vice President Zahid Uddin Ahmed Saymon, Joint Secretary Delwar Hossain Badal, Organizing Secretary Mobarak Hossain, Office Secretary Rafiqul Islam, Publicity and Publication Secretary AA Momen, Executive Members Alamin Lyon, Mohubar, Moshiur Rahman Sumon, MA Masum and other members of BPJA were present on the programme.
