After almost two years away from music, popular band singer Monir Hossain is back with a brand-new song titled ‘Nishchup Raate’. The song was released recently and has already caught the attention of many listeners.
The lyrics, tune, and music were done by Shanto Rahman, the lead guitarist of the well-known band Obscure. The song tells the story of a quiet, lonely night—a night full of memories, sadness, and missing someone special.
Talking about the song, Monir Hossain said, “We tried to bring back the style and feeling of songs from the 1990s. It has that old-school rock ballad vibe. I believe listeners will be reminded of many past memories when they hear it.”
He also said, “This song is about being alone, remembering someone, and feeling like they are still around. You walk alone at night and suddenly feel like someone is coming—but no one is really there. That feeling comes from missing someone deeply and being used to their presence.”
The song ‘Nishchup Raate’ is now available on YouTube through the Boom Music channel.
Monir Hossain started his music career with his own band ‘Striking’. Later, he worked as a guest lead singer with the popular band Warfaze, where many of his songs became popular. Now, he is working regularly with new band ‘Prithak’.
