The Indian Visa Application Centre (IVAC) has issued new guidelines for booking appointments for Indian visas.
According to the guidelines issued on Tuesday, appointment slots for the following two weeks will be opened on Thursdays or the last working day of the week, subject to slot availability at the relevant mission and visa section.
IVAC said slots are opened, subject to availability, from noon to 5pm Sunday through Thursday and from 10am to noon on Saturdays.
Applicants will not be able to book an appointment for the same day. They can book appointments only for available dates within the following two weeks, according to the guidelines.
