Newly appointed Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Bangladesh Police's Mymensingh Range, Mohammad Zahidul Hasan (BPM-Service), officially joined his new post on Tuesday (August 4).
He was received by Additional DIG (Administration and Finance) Md Abu Bakar Siddique. Also present on the occasion were Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) [promoted to the rank of Additional DIG] Rashida Begum; Commandant (Superintendent of Police), In-Service Training Centre, Jamalpur [promoted to the rank of Additional DIG], Md Milon Mahmud; Superintendent of Police (Operations) Mohammad Salahuddin Talukdar; Superintendent of Police, Netrokona, Md Tarikul Islam; Superintendent of Police, Jamalpur, Mosammat Farhana Yasmin; Superintendent of Police, Sherpur, A K M Jahirul Islam; Superintendent of Police, Mymensingh, Mohammad Kamrul Hasan; Commandant (Superintendent of Police), In-Service Training Centre, Mymensingh, Soma Hapong; Commandant (Superintendent of Police), In-Service Training Centre, Netrokona, Kanai Lal Sarkar; Acting Commandant (Superintendent of Police), In-Service Training Centre, Sherpur, Mohammad Fakhruzzaman Jewel; Assistant Superintendent of Police and Staff Officer to the DIG, Md Parvez Alam, along with senior officials from the Range DIG's Office, Mymensingh, and Mymensingh District Police.
Later, a smartly turned-out contingent of Mymensingh District Police presented a Guard of Honour to the DIG.
The Mymensingh Range Police wished the newly joined DIG every success in his new assignment.
