Newly joined deputy commissioner (DC) in Jhenaidah SM Rafiqul Islam had met the people of all walks of life at Jhenaidah Sadar Upazila Parishad auditorium on Tuesday afternoon. Presided over by Jhenaidah Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sadiya Jarin, DC Rafiqul Islam attended as chief guest. The new deputy commissioner in his speech as chief guest urged upon all to present a new Smart Bangladesh to the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina when she has been restlessly working to make the country smart and ensure better living for all utilizing all available facilities. Adopting information and communication and other technologies might help attain success so that he people could identify themselves as the nation of heroism which was brought after a nine-month battle against the occupying Pakistani rulers in 1971.
