Saleh Mohammad Tanvir joined as the new Commissioner of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) on Monday.
The new CMP Commissioner was actually greeted with flowers at the Dampara CMP headquarters in the morning by senior officials including CMP Additional Commissioner (Administration and Finance) Amena Begum.
CMP Additional Commissioner (Crime and Operations) SM Mostaq Ahmed Khan, Additional Commissioner (Traffic) Shyamal Kumar Nath, Deputy Commissioner (Headquarters) Amir Zafar and other senior officials were present on the occasion. CMP Commissioner Saleh Mohammad Tanvir said, “I took charge of the office on Monday”.
Previously, Saleh Mohammad Tanvir was the Additional Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police. Saleh Mohammad Tanvir had earlier served as an Additional CMP Commissioner.
