New notes would be distributed from six scheduled banks in Chattogram on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr, said a press release.
These are: Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited’s Port Connecting Road branch, United Commercial Bank’s Halishahar branch, Bank Asia Oxygen, Jamuna Bank’s Bahaddarhat branch, BRAC Bank’s Bandartila branch and First Security Islami Bank's Kattarihat branch.
A news release from Bangladesh Bank, Chattogram branch said that in the banking transactions from January 22 to 30, the general public will be able to take a new note of Tk. 18,000 with a packet of 100, 50, 20 and 10 Tk.
