Comilla City Corporation officers, employees, and members of various professional groups welcomed Mohammad Shah Alam with floral tributes on Monday as he assumed charge as the new Administrator. Previously serving as Joint Secretary, he has now taken up the role on deputation from the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications.
A distinguished native of Barura Upazila in Comilla district, he was joined at the ceremony by Acting Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Mamun, Chief Executive Engineer Abu Sayeem, Chief Revenue Officer Mostafizur Rahman, Assistant Engineers, and other officials and staff members.
The newly appointed Administrator requested full cooperation from all officers and employees of the City Corporation and urged them to perform their duties efficiently. He emphasised the importance of teamwork to ensure smooth functioning and effective administration of the city.
