Bidhya Devi Bhandari, President of Nepal, in her televised speech on Tuesday late evening greeted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the people of Bangladesh on the occasion of observing the Mujib Barsho. She recalled the contributions of Bangabandhu during the independence of the nation. She also appreciated recent economic growth of Bangladesh and called for greater cooperation between Nepal and Bangladesh and enhance trade and tourism. She congratulated people of Bangladesh for celebrating Mujib Barsho or Mujib Year 2020-2021.
