‘The Matrix Resurrections’ picks up 20 years after the events of ‘The Matrix Revolutions’ and finds Neo living a normal life in San Francisco once again under the name of Thomas A. Anderson, who regularly sees a therapist prescribing blue pills. One day, Anderson runs into Trinity, though neither recognize one another, and shortly thereafter is reunited with Morpheus, offering him a red pill and a chance to open his eyes to the truth about ‘The Matrix’. After two years of production and Covid-19-related delays, The Matrix Resurrections is gearing up for its long-awaited release.

A new ‘Matrix Resurrections’ photo has been unveiled with just over a month to go until the film's premiere. The image sees Trinity and Neo reunited in what looks to be a coffee shop, though thereunion does't appears overly happy as the two look on in suspicion to an off-camera presence.

The new ‘Matrix Resurrections’ photo doesn't offer much in the way of clarification for the film's still-mysterious plot, but it does feature a nice hint for the development of Trinity and Neo's relationship.    -Collider
