NDUB organises workshop on developing youth academic skills

Notre Dame University Bangladesh (NDUB) has initiated a programme entitled ‘Developing Youth Academic Skills’ where the youth will be trained through a series of workshops in the session 2018-2019.

The 5th episode of this workshop was held on Wednesday at Notre Dame College, which aimed at creative and critical writing skills of essay writing.

The chief guest of the event was Dr Fr Sankar Rozario, CSC, deputy registrar, NDUB, special guest was Dr Br Leo J Pereira, CSC, deputy exam controller, NDUB, and Ahmed Tahsin Shams, lecturer of the Department of English at NDUB.

At the end of the workshop, the best 10 young writers were awarded gifts. After a year, an event of the selected best writers from schools and colleges will be held at NDUB campus where they will be groomed to be a better writer by experts.

It is to be mentioned that the first four episodes of the workshop were held on 27 October 2018 at Central Women’s College, 25 February 2019 at Narayanganj

High School, 16 April 2019 at St. Gregory’s High School and College, 27 July 2019 at Siddheswari Girls College respectively.
