The National Consensus Commission will discuss with the political parties the implementation process of the July National Charter.
The decision came from a meeting of the commission held on Monday to review the recommendations and observations given by experts on Sunday.
The meeting also analysed the opinions provided by different political parties on the matter.
“It has been decided that the commission will now hold formal discussions with political parties over the issue,” said a press release.
NCC Vice Chair Ali Riaz, members Badiul Alam Majumdar, Justice Md Emdadul Haque, Iftekharuzzaman, Safar Raj Hossain and Md Aiyub Mia, and Chief Adviser’s Special Assistant Monir Haidar attended the meeting.
