The Board of Directors of NCC Bank Ltd has re-elected Md Nurun Newaz Salim as Chairman and Mrs Sohela Hossain as Vice Chairman of the Bank.
Md Nurun Newaz Salim is an eminent industrialist and entrepreneuar of the country. He is the Chairman of Electro Mart Ltd and Trade International Insustries Ltd. Salim is the Director of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industries (FBCCI) and former Senior Vice President of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce & Industries. He was the Chairman of Central Insurance Co. Ltd.
Salim is the Member of the Board of Trustee of Feni University. He has also established many Schools, Colleges and Madrashas in Feni including Moulvi Shamsul Karim College, Nurun Newaz High School, Amin Newaz Girls High School, Moulvi Shamsul Karim Madrasha, Shaheda Newaz Kindergarten School etc. He is associated with many social & cultural organizations.
Mrs Sohela Hossain is a renowned educationist, social worker and researcher. She is the Chairman of Mir Akter Hossain Ltd. and President of Mir Group of Companies.
Mrs Sohela Hossain was born in an educated and aristocratic family of Jhiltuli, Faridpur.
ssss After obtaining BA Hons and MA from the University of Dhaka, she started her career in teaching profession. She was involved in this profession with Dhaka International University and Tejgaon University College for more than two decades. She wrote several books on religious topics. She is a renowned Rabindra Sangeet singer of Radio & Television.
