National Bank Limited (NBL) observed the first death anniversary of valiant Freedom Fighter and NBL’s former Chairman Zainul Haque Sikder on Thursday (February 10) with due solemnity and special prayers and programmes.
The programme began in the morning with laying floral wreath at the grave of the late Zainul Haque Sikder on the premises of ZH Sikder Women's Medical College and Hospital.The management of the bank arranged a Doa Mahfil at the head office along with all its branches countrywide where clients and well-wishers attended spontaneously and offered special prayers to the Almighty Allah for the salvation of the soul of Zainul Haque Sikder.
It may be mentioned that Zainul Haque Sikder passed away on February 10 in 2021 while he was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Dubai.
Dignitaries of the country, including Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, expressed deep grief over the death of Zainul Haque Sikder, a close associate of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and conveyed their deepest sympathy to the family members.
