National Bank Limited (NBL) has donated 1.5 lakh pieces of blankets to the Prime Minister’s Relief and Welfare Fund aiming to support the underprivileged segment of the country during the upcoming winter season.
Chairperson of the bank’s Executive Committee Parveen Haque Sikder, MP handed over the blankets to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, on behalf of NBL Board of Directors’ Chairman Monowara Sikder, at the Prime Minister's Office at a ceremony on Thursday.
President of Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB) Md Nazrul Islam Mazumder along with representatives of other banks and officials concerned at the PMO were present on the occasion, says a press release.
