Under the refinance scheme of Bangladesh Bank, 16 banks including National Bank Limited disbursed loan among Tk 10 account holders at a special programme at Ayesha Community Center in Netrokona on Saturday.
At the programme Tk 54.06 lakh loan was disbursed as the Payment Orders of Loan was handed over to 119 account holders.
NBL was the lead bank in the programme.
Md Anwarul Islam, general manager of Financial Inclusion Department of Bangladesh Bank was the chief guest at the programme while joint director of Bangladesh Bank, AHM Rafiqul Islam was present as special guest.
The programme was presided over by NBL deputy managing director Md Ekramul Haque.
Manager of NBL Netrokona branch, other bank’s managers of Netrokona, officials from regional offices & head offices were also present in the occasion.
