Prominent Banker Md. Nazimuddoula joined at Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) as Deputy Managing Director on Monday. Prior to his joining at Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. he was the Deputy Managing Director and Head of Human Resource Division of Premier Bank Limited.
Md. Nazimuddoulawas born in 1961 in a respectable Muslim family at Mirzanagar village, Mirpur upazila in Kushtia district. He received his SSC from Pabna Zilla School and HSC from Govt. Edward College, Pabna. After getting these certificate heobtained his B.A. Hons. Degree and M.A. in English from Jahangirnagar University. Later in his professional life, he obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Personal Management from the Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM). He also received professional training from various institutions at home and abroad.
Md. Nazimuddoulastarted his Banking career in 1987 by joining Bangladesh Shilpa Bank as Senior Officer. In his long creditable banking experience of more than 33 years, heholds various important positions in different Financial and Non-financial institutions. In his colorful banking career, Md. Nazimuddoulahas been involved in General Banking, Loans, Project Finance, Syndicate Finance, Leasing, Higher Purchase, SME, Retail and Agriculture Finance, Credit Administration, Human Resource Development and Internal Control & Compliance of the Bank.
