Members of Bangladesh Navy seized one single barrel gun, two rounds of ammunition, three locally made weapon from Kutubdia upazila of Cox’s Bazar on Tuesday.
In accordance with the government's directive under "In Aid to Civil Power," the Bangladesh Navy has been conducting regular operations to combat illegal activities and terrorism. As part of this, based on secret information, the Bangladesh Navy carried out an operation in the Tabal Char area of Ali Akbar Dail Union in Kutubdia Upazila of Cox's Bazar early Tuesday. During the search, one single-barrel gun, two rounds ammunition, and three locally made sharp weapons were recovered.
The seized firearm, weapons and ammunition were handed over to Kutudia police station for further legal action.
It is mentionable that patrolling and drive will continue in the areas under Bangladesh Navy to keep law and order situation under control.
