Bangladesh Navy continues to provide humanitarian assistance to the people of Saint Martin Island affected by Cyclone ‘Mocha'. On Tuesday, more than 600 poor and helpless families affected by St. Martin Island were given necessary treatment, medicine and food assistance.
As food aid, various items including rice, dal, flour, gram, salt, pure water and water purification tablets are given to each affected family.
Bangladesh Navy is engaged in providing emergency medical assistance to cyclone affected areas with special medical teams, lifesaving drugs, saline and other supplies free of cost. This assistance program of the Navy will continue until the situation in the affected areas improves.
