Navy distributes food items among the helpless

The emerging situation across the country has disrupted the normal lives of the poor and low-income people. To alleviate their suffering and distress, Bangladesh Navy has stepped in, bringing smiles to the faces of thousands of helpless individuals.

Responding to the call of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the distribution of food items among low-income people has been ongoing since July 27, 2024, under the supervision of the Bangladesh Navy Family and Welfare Association (BNFWA).

Continuing this effort, food items are being distributed daily to thousands of families in various districts and upazilas of Dhaka, Chattogram, and Khulna naval regions.

Rice, lentils, flour, oil, and other essential commodities are being provided to the helpless. This initiative aims to alleviate the suffering of disadvantaged individuals, including underprivileged children, the disabled, elderly men and women, and other poor and distressed people.

Bangladesh Navy is dedicated to the welfare of the people in any disaster or emergency situation.

Once again, following the Prime Minister’s directives, the Navy’s welfare activities have set an exemplary example of humanity.

Receiving essential food items has brought relief to the poor and distressed people of society.

Bangladesh Navy is committed to providing overall security to the lives and properties of the public and important government installations. It has always stood by the people's welfare in any crisis and will continue to do so in the future.
