Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Mohammad Aurangzeb Chowdhury returned home on Wednesday after a four-day visit at United Nations Headquarters at New York, USA. High-ups of his force greeted and received the Navy Chief at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, an Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate release said, reports BSS.
During his visit, he had meeting with the United Nations Military Adviser for Peacekeeping Operations Carlos H Loitey and Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the United Nations Masud Bin Momen. Admiral Aurangzeb also paid courtesy visit to the UN Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations Jean-Pierre Lacroix and Under-Secretary General for the UN Department of Field Support Atul Khare. He discussed the activities of Bangladesh Navy during the meetings, the ISPR release added.
