Newly assigned Chief of the Bangladesh Navy Rear Admiral M Shahin Iqbal pays homage to the Mausoleum of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara on Monday morning.
At 10-00 am on July-27 Rear Admiral M. Shahin Iqbal and his wife, President of Family Welfare Association of Bangladesh Navy Begum Monira Raushan Iqbal placed floral wreaths at the foot of the Mausoleum of the Father of the Nation.
Later on, both the Navy Chief and his wife participated in a special Munajat ( prayer) and recited Sura Fatiha seeking the salvation of the departed soul of Bangabandhu.
