Nationalised pry teachers demand fresh gazette

Human chain and assembly was held in Noakhali and Shariatpur on Tuesday to demand time scale for primary school teachers, cancellation of the ministry's letter regarding cancellation of time scale as well as provide gazette to the head teachers who were left out of the gazette.

In Noakhali, district unit of the Nationalized Primary Teachers' Alliance held the programme on the road in front of the deputy commissioner's office in the morning.

At the end of the human chain, the teachers presented a memorandum to the Prime Minister through the Deputy Commissioner. Mohammad Ali Akkas, convener of the district branch of the alliance, teacher Mohammad Abul Hossain Azad, Md. Abdul Hakim, Md. Amir Hossain, Md. Nur Uddin and many others spoke at the time.

Speakers said that the complication caused by the sudden issuance of time scale cancellation of nationalized primary teachers is creating uneasiness among the teachers in the country.

Meanwhile in Shariatpur, district unit of the alliance also handed over a memorandum to Shariatpur Deputy Commissioner Md. Parvez Hasan in this regard in the morning. 

Ahsan Akter, general secretary of Shariatpur Primary Teachers' Alliance, Munshur Ahmed, president of Damudya upazila unit, Md. Abul Kashem, president of Vederganj upazila unit and others were present while handing over the memorandum.
