Teachers and employees of Ebtedayee madrashah formed a human chain in front of the DC office in Jhenaidah on Wednesday to press home their six-point demand including nationalisation of their educational institutions.
Jhenidah district unit of Bangladesh Ebtedayee Madrashah Teachers Association organsied the programme. Anwar Hossain, Nasrin Begum, Jamir Hossain, Taifur Rahman, Abu Selim, Sumaiya Begum, Afroza Parvin and Hasanuzzaman among others among others spoke.
The teachers said to ensure make the madrasah education timely and introduce other timely subjects abide the running curriculum, the institutions must be nationalized recruiting adequate office assistants and attendants. They had demanded interference of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina so that the dynamic leader also the state head, could take necessary steps in the regard.
