National univ guidelines for teachers

The authorities of National University have issued urgent directives for teachers and invigilators ahead of the Honours 1st Year Examination 2024, emphasizing strict adherence to procedures to ensure exam integrity and smooth evaluation.

The guideline, singed by NU controller of examinations Md. Enamul Karim, was issued in this regard on Sunday (August 24).

With the exam cycle underway, the guidelines outline clear steps for handling admit cards, answer scripts, OMR forms, and packaging protocols.

Key directives include:

Admit cards of expelled candidates must be clearly marked “Expelled” in red ink.In cases of cheating, answer scripts should be underlined in red ink and attached as evidence.For absent candidates, invigilators must write “Absent” in red ink next to the relevant subject and paper, and sign accordingly.Invigilators must verify that candidates have correctly filled in roll number, registration number, and subject code on the OMR forms. 

Any incorrect information should be marked “Absent” in red ink.OMR sheets and answer scripts must be carefully arranged in order and packed in corrugated boxes. Bundles must only contain papers of the specified subject.

Bundles should be wrapped in polythene and purple cloth, clearly labeled with exam code 2201.

Expelled answer scripts must be packed separately, clearly marked “Expelled” in red ink.

These measures aim to ensure proper exam management and maintain academic integrity.

The controller stressed that accurate documentation and proper packaging are critical to avoiding errors during evaluation and result processing.

The directives aim to strengthen accountability, minimize administrative lapses, and uphold the credibility of the examination system.

All affiliated colleges and exam centers have been instructed to follow the guidelines without deviation, ensuring a transparent and efficient examination process across the National University network.
