National Statistics Day 2022 has been celebrated with the slogan ‘Quality Statistics is a step towards better life’.
Munshiganj District Statistics Office organized a colorful rally on the occasion. On Sunday, the rally went around different roads and ended at the Collectorate ground.
Deputy Secretary Enamul Ahsan, Tongibari Upazila Statistics Officer Nargis Laila, District Statistics Office Mr. Pradeep Kumar, Maksuda Akter, Md. Tajul Islam, Md. Kamrul Islam, Md. Nasir Uddin, District and Upazila Office Officers and staff were present.
In a brief speech at the end of the rally, Deputy Secretary Enamul Ahsan said, “We have to manage the various surveys at the national level statistically. Because a good number of things are depends on the survey. So it is very important to complete the survey work properly. We must have to pay attention to this issue.” Later, the pigeon, the symbol of peace, flew and started the other activities of the program.
