The ‘National Productivity Master Plan for Bangladesh’ will be formulated soon under the ‘National Strategic Plan of Japan’ for increasing sector wise productivity in the country.
The information came today at a workshop on ‘Strategy of Productivity Development’ at the Industries Ministry conference room in the city, said a press release, BSS reports. National Productivity Organisation (NPO) organised the workshop with the participation of representatives from Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA).
NPO Director SM Asrafuzzaman presided over the workshop while BKMEA Senior Vice-President Monsur Ahmed, Director Mohammad Mostafa Monwar, among others, delivered speeches.
The speakers said that a three-member delegation from Thailand will come in Dhaka tomorrow for providing assistance in the master plan formulation process.
They will fix the strategy of productivity after discussions with different stakeholders, they added.
