Authorities have banned the entry of visitors to the National Memorial in Savar from 4th to 15th December for cleaning work and the preparations for security of VIPs ahead the Great Victory Day.
Authorities put up a notice regarding the matter at the main entrance of the memorial on Monday afternoon.
During the closure, no visitors can enter the memorial due to preparation work for VIP security and cleanliness operations, the notice said.
Public works department informed that President and the Prime Minister will pay homage at the National Memorial on Victory Day. The main gate of the Memorial will then be opened for public. So, the access of visitors will be reserved for a certain period of time.
