National Legal Aid Day was observed in Munshiganj with the slogan "Take free legal aid, Sheikh Hasina's government is giving this assurance". Munshiganj District Legal Aid Committee organized a colorful rally and discussion meeting on the occasion of the day. A colorful rally was held in front of Munshiganj District Judge's Office at 9 am. The rally went around different streets of the city and ended at the district judge's office.
Senior District Judge Md. Amjad Hossain, Deputy Commissioner Kazi Nahid Rasul, Superintendent of Police Abdul Momen PPM, Civil Surgeon Md. Manjurul Alam, Chief Judicial Magistrate Rokeya Rahman, President of Bar Association Advocate Ajay Chakraborty, General Secretary of District Bar Association Advocate Md. Masud Alam, P.P. Advocate Abdul Matin, people of different professions including lawyers. In the afternoon a discussion meeting was held in the conference room of the District Bar Association. In the discussion meeting, the speakers spoke highlighting the importance and significance of the day.
