National Film Award winners of 2017 and 2018

The wait has finally come to an end. The announcement for the National Film Awards has been made. A gazette has been released with the names of the award winners of 2017 and 2018 on 7th November from the Ministry of Information. The names of the best of the film industry in the last two years have been published. Below are the names of the award winners. 

2017

Lifetime achievement: ATM Shamsuzzaman and Salma Begum Sujata

Best film: Dhaka Attack (Kaiser Ahammed and Sanowar Hossain)

Best documentary film: (Bishwo Anginai Omor Ekushey (Bangladesh Television)

Best film director: Badrul Anam Soud

Best male lead actor: Shakib Khan (Satta), Arefin Shuvo (Dhaka Attack)

Best female lead actor: Nusrat Imrose Tisha (Halda)

Best male actor in supporting role: Mohammad Shahadat Hossain (Gohin Baluchor)

Best female actor in supporting role: Runa Khan (Halda), Suborna Mustafa (Gohin Baluchor)

Best villain: Jahid Hasan (Halda)

Best comic actor: Fazlur Rahman Babu (Gohin Baluchor)

Best child actor: Naimur Rahman Apon (Chitkini)

Special award for child actors: Annonyo Samael (Ankhi O Tar Bondhura) 

Best music director: M A Farid Ahmed Hazra (Tumi Robe Nirobe)

Best dance director: Ivan Shahriar Sohag (Dhatteriki)

Best male singer: Mahfuz Anam James (Satta – Tar Promete Ondho)

Best female singer: Momotaz (Satta – Na jani kon Oporadhe)

Best lyricist: Sejul Hossain (Satta – Na jani kon Oporadhe)

Best composer: Bappa Mazumder (Satta – Na jani kon Oporadhe)

Best storywriter: Azad Bulbul (Halda)

Best screenplay: Toukir Ahmed (Halda)

Best dialogue writer: Badrul Anam Soud (Gohin Baluchor)
