The 49th National Cooperative Day was observed at Chitalmari in Bagerhat with the theme ‘Bangabandhu’s philosophy, development in cooperatives’ on Sunday.
On the occasion of the day, a discussion meeting was held at 10 am in Chitalmari Upazila Parishad hall. Upazila Awami League president Md Babul Hossain Khan was present as the chief guest at the meeting.
The meeting was chaired by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Maruful Alam and addressed by Cooperative Officer Mollah Saiful Islam, Social Service Officer Md. Abu Musa, Coordinator of Palli Sanchay Bank Md. Obaidur Rahman and others.
The meeting, conducted by Mukul Haldar, was attended by presidents, editors and co-operatives of various associations.
