National Children’s Day observed in Munshiganj

Various programmes have been celebrated in Munshiganj on the occasion of National Children's Day and the 102nd birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Leaders of district administration, police administration and various social and political organizations paid homage to Bangabandhu's mural with flowers, wreaths at Kachari Chattar area at 9 am on Thursday. Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Kazi Nahid Rasool, Munshiganj-3 MP Advocate Mrinal Kanti Das, Munshiganj Superintendent of Police Abdul Momen PPM, Upazila Chairman and freedom fighter Anis Uzzaman Anis, District Awami League Joint General Secretary Advocate Sohana Tahmina were present. Mayor Haji Md. Faisal Biplob, Sadar Awami League President and Charkewar UP Chairman Alhaj Afshar Uddin Bhuiyan, Charkewar UP Awami League President Abdur Razzak, Jatiya Sramik League Convener Almach, Member Khokon Mobin, District Jatiya Sramik League President Akkas Ali, Munshiganj District Mahila Awami League President Tahura Begum. Josna, General Secretary Samsunnahar Shilpi etc.

On the other hand, free medical services were provided at the supermarket premises on the initiative of Munshiganj district branch of Bangladesh Diploma Medical Association (BDMA). The medical campaign was inaugurated by Munshiganj Civil Surgeon Dr. Md. Manjurul Alam. The campaign provides medical advice to about 300-350 patients. The patient's blood grading, blood sugar, blood pressure and weight are also measured. Dr. Tapan Kumar Das, President of Diploma Physicians Association BDMA, Dr. Md. Sarkar Humayun Kabir, General Secretary, Dr. Md. Nurul Amin Khan Sohail, Senior Vice President, Dr. Md. Al-Rabbani, Office Secretary, Dr. Shamsul Haque Himu, Dr. Md. Minhaj Uddin were also present. , Dr. Swapan Kumar Das, Dr. Bikash, Dr. Abul Hasan and Dr. Md. Farhad. The free medical campaign is for women. Conducted in collaboration with Veteran Diploma Physician and Famous Health Care and Diagnostic Center.
