The National Bank Limited (NBL) on Sunday on October 27 inaugurated its 206th Branch named Shahrasti Branch in Chandpur district. Choudhury Moshtaq Ahmed, the Managing Director and also the CEO of the bank, inaugurated the branch as the chief guest through a function by cutting a ribbon. Deputy Managing Directors of the NBL, some divisional heads of the Head Office, Manager of Shahrasti Branch, many other officers of the bank, some freedom fighters, distinguished business personnel of the area, social workers, journalists and people from different professions were present in the function.
At the inaugural function, Managing Director of the bank, Choudhury Moshtaq Ahmed said, “In the overall banking system, National Bank is playing a significant role. National Bank is keen to help grow the industrial and agricultural sector of the country.” “This Bank will be able to leave a significant mark on the overall economic growth of the country”, said the NBL Managing Director. He also assured of quality and modern banking services through the new Branch. The function was concluded through prayer for the father of the nation and all the martyred freedom fighters as well as thanking to all the people present there. A special prayer was also offered for the well being of the country.
